Rock Valley Community Programs, Inc. (RVCP, Inc.) is a private, non-profit agency that has been providing correctional services in Rock County since 1971, beginning with the opening of a residential service for praolees.
The Alternative Program (AP) has continuously provided services for correctional clients, and today RVCP, Inc. has the capacity to service 150 clients through the Department of Corrections, Federal Bureau of Prisons, and the Department of Health and Family Services. As of August 2014, RVCP, Inc. administers five criminal justice/treatment programs. These services are as follows: Compass Behavioral Health Clinic and Janesville Psychiatric Clinic, Residential Re-entry Program, Veteran's Services Department, Community Services Department, and Harper's Place.
RVCP, Inc. staff and Board of Directors must be compassionate to the problems facing our clientele, believe in the dignity and worth of human beings, respect individual and cultural differences and have a commitment to quality care for our clientele. This commitment requires personnel to have the knowledge, abilities and skills necessary to provide effective, quality services with integrity and competence.
